Monroe Team Members Celebrate Safety Awards

Team Members in Monroe, North Carolina, recently celebrated one-million-safe man-hours without a lost-time accident. They won both Excellence in Safety and One Million Safe Man-hour awards from the North Carolina Department of Labor.

An appreciation luncheon was given for the Team Members for this significant achievement. The cookout was held for both shifts and included hot dogs, hamburgers, and Cold Stone Creamery ice cream. A T-shirt and gift was given to all Team Members for appreciation.

The North Carolina Department of Labor Safety Awards was presented to the following:

• Gold Award – Processing Plant and Breeder Operations
• Silver Award – Feed mill, Service Center, and Grow Out

An appreciation cookout was also held for the Team Members at the hatchery. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and dessert were provided. Everyone was recognized for their safety efforts.
