Tyson Foods Sends Holiday Care Packages to Deployed Troops

More than 50 Team Members from corporate headquarters assembled holiday care packages to deployed Team Members or their family and friends serving in the Middle East and other overseas locations recently. Managers from many Tyson Foods’ locations forwarded names to the External Relations Department so their Team Members could be included in the shipment.

“This year we were able to increase the number of packages from 100 in 2007 to 150 due to the generosity and kindness of our Team Members. Over $4,000 was raised during a Jeans Day fundraiser held November 7,” says Cathy Williams. “We are honored to send a gift of appreciation to those serving our country in the military. It’s the least we can do to remember those who give so much to us.”
