Nashville Complex Wins First Place in Christmas Parade

CHRISTMASPARADE web.JPGThe Nashville, Arkansas, Complex recently participated in the local Christmas parade. This year’s theme was “God Bless the U.S.A. Christmas.”

“This provided an opportunity for everyone to honor and remember our men and women who are serving in the U.S. military. Our float was a log cabin decorated with the colors of the American flag,” says Celia Velzaquez, assistant complex HR manager.

The float also had two large American flags on the back part of the float.  A Team Member dressed in a chicken suit was also waiving at people from the back of the truck pulling the float.

The float won first place in the commercial category. At the Nashville Complex we were very excited to participate in a parade that brings people together to celebrate the festivities.

Thanks to everyone that participated and helped to build the float:  Ken D. Young, Don Mason, Terri R. Byrd, Turner Vance, Robert L. Grace, Diana C. Applegate, Glenda S. Tinkes, James R. Chamber, Dale Patrick, and Complex Manager Paul Britt for his support and willingness to always give back to the community.
