At the 33 Tyson feed mills across the United States and Mexico, the raw grain is combined with vitamins, minerals, and other natural ingredients to get the proper balance of nutrition. No steroids or growth hormones are added to Tyson's feed.
All feed ingredients are tested at a Tyson Quality Assurance laboratory to ensure their safety, quality, and nutritional value.
The finished feed is taken to the farms in a feed truck designed to place the feed into bins beside each chicken house or hog barn.
