The premier grade “Prime” is the highest USDA beef grade available, and Tyson Fresh Meats is proud to offer 12 products in prime to your
consumers that demand only the best. The rich marbling provides the most tender, flavorful, and juiciest beef that is second
to none. Less than 2% of all cattle are graded Prime each year.
Prime Beef selection meets the following criteria:
- Slightly Abundant 0 or better in marbling
- Can be Grade A or B maturity
- Lean texture
- Lean marbling
- Color
