Quesa Prima

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces Grilled & Ready® Fully Cooked Frozen Seasoned Steak Strips ,
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup onion, julienne cut
  • 1/4 cup orange pepper, julienne cut
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper, julienne cut
  • 1/4 cup yellow bell pepper, julienne cut
  • 1/4 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 tablespoon Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup low fat Caesar dressing
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 4 6 inch wheat tortillas
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Field Greens, as needed


Cooking Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in skillet and add Grilled & Ready® Seasoned Beef Strips, onions, peppers, mushrooms and Montreal Steak Seasoning. Sauté 4-6 minutes until vegetables are tender crisp. Keep warm.
  2. Combine mayonnaise, dressing, horseradish sauce and garlic and whisk to blend.
  3. To assemble: Brush 4 tortillas with oil and place tortillas oiled side down on work surface. Divide meat and vegetable mixture among tortillas and place on one half of tortilla.
  4. Cover with cheese and fold to close.
  5. Grill on preheated 350 degree griddle, or in skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. Slice each tortilla into 4 wedges, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and arrange 2 wedges on plate. Serve with mayonnaise sauce, field greens, grape tomatoes and red onion slices.
