Caramelized Onion and Garlic Chicken

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450° F. Spray 12" x 8" baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Heat oil in medium nonstick skillet over medium-low. Add onion and garlic. Cook and stir 6 to 8 minutes or until soft. Stir in sugar and vinegar until dissolved. Cook and stir 7 to 9 minutes or until liquid evaporates. Remove from heat.
  2. Place Tyson® chicken bone side down in baking dish. Spread onion mixture evenly over chicken. Cover loosely with foil. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until done (internal temp 180° F).

Serving Suggestion: Serve with steamed broccoli and fresh tomatoes with mozzarella cheese to round out the meal. Refrigerate leftovers.

Substitution Tip:

Try using Tyson Individually Frozen Chicken Half Breasts.  Rinse off the ice glaze and pat dry before following recipe directions.  Increase cooking time by about one-third.
