Pizza Party Chicken Wings

Pizza Party Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 1 package Chicken Wings (2.5 lb. bag), 8 to 10 pieces, thawed
  • 3/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese, grated


Cooking Instructions

  1. Cut off wing tips; discard. Cut remaining wing into two parts at joint. Combine pizza sauce, oregano and cayenne in a resealable plastic bag. Add chicken; turn to coat. Refrigerate 8 hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray 9 x 13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Remove chicken from bag; discard marinade. Place chicken in baking dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  3. Bake chicken 45 minutes to 1 hour or until done (internal temp 180°F).

Serving Suggestion: Serve hot or cold. Refrigerate leftovers.

Tip: How many appetizers do you need? Plan on about 12 per person if that’s all you’re serving. Cut that amount in half if you’re serving dinner as well.
