Quick Beef and Black Bean Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 package Tyson® Beef Tips in Gravy
  • 2 cans chili-seasoned diced tomatoes, 14 1/2-oz. each
  • 1 can black beans, 15 oz., rinsed and drained
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1 cup water


Cooking Instructions

  1. Cut beef tips into 1/2-inch cubes. Place meat and gravy into a large deep pot.
  2. Add tomatoes, beans, water, chili powder and red pepper to pot; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serving Suggestion: Serve chili with desired toppings; for example fresh cilantro, green onion, shredded Cheddar cheese and sour cream. Refrigerate leftovers.

Tip: If the people you’re serving have different tolerances for spicy foods, use chili powder sparingly when cooking and serve a bottle of picante sauce on the side.
