Tuscan Steak Tortellini

Tuscan Steak Tortellini

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Grilled & Ready® Fully Cooked Refrigerated Seasoned Steak Strips
  • 1 package cheese tortellini
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 1-2/3 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 red or yellow pepper, cubed
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons light balsamic salad dressing
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, shredded


Cooking Instructions

  1. Prepare tortellini al dente according to package directions.
  2. While tortellini is cooking, combine olive oil and garlic in heavy saucepan; sauté garlic over low heat for 1-2 minutes. Add next 3 ingredients and whisk to blend. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  3. In a separate pan, sauté butter and vegetables over high heat until tender-crisp. Season to taste; keep warm.
  4. Right before ready to plate, warm Grilled & Ready Seasoned Steak Strips according to package directions.
  5. To assemble: Separate tortellini among 4 plates. Top each with vegetables, 1/2 cup Alfredo mixture and Steak Strips. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon balsamic dressing over steak. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
