How to Cook

Conventional Oven

1. Preheat oven to 350° F.  Remove necks and giblets.  Simply season inside and out with salt and pepper.  **Stuff if desired.  Tie legs together.

2. Place roaster, breast side up, in roasting pan.  Check the Bird Alert Thermometer to see that it is completely inserted.  "Roaster Weight: Approximate Cooking Time": 5 to 6 Lbs: 1 3/4 to 2 1/4 hours; 6 to 7 Lbs: 2 to 2 1/2 hours.  **Add 20 to 30 minutes cooking time for stuffed roaster.

3. Remove roaster from oven and discard thermometer.  Allow your Roaster to stand 10 to 15 minutes for easy carving.

Adjust accordingly to ensure internal temperature reaches 180°F.
