Preheat oven to 375°F. Cover baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray. Combine egg and barbecue sauce in a small bowl. Put cornflake or bread crumbs in another bowl. Put flour and salt in a large resealable plastic bag. Close bag and shake well to mix.
Add chicken to bag, one piece at a time, shaking to coat with flour. Dip each drumstick in egg, then roll in crumbs to coat. Put chicken on baking sheet.
Bake chicken 15 to 20 minutes. Turn pieces over and bake 15 to 20 minutes more or until done (internal temp 180°F).
