Cooking Instructions

  1. Grill wings according to package directions.  
  2. While wings are cooking, heat tomatoes, vinegar, water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat for 12-15 minutes.  Stir in tomato paste, preserves and salt and heat for an additional 5 minutes or until sauce begins to thicken.
  3. Chill sauce quickly by filling a large bowl with ice and cold water.  Pour sauce into a smaller container and place into the ice bath.  The container should be level with the ice.  Stir sauce to distribute the heat to the cold areas until the sauce cools evenly.  Pour into serving bowl and serve with wings.  Dip can be made ahead of time and refrigerated.
