Cooking Instructions

  1. Grill wings according to package directions.  Char-grill whole green onions while wings are grilling for later use in dip. 
  2. While wings are cooking, heat water and sugar in a sauce pan over medium heat for 10-12 minutes.  Add lemon segments and heat for an additional 5-7 minutes.  Stir in lemon zest and curd until fully incorporated and sauce thickens. 
  3. Chill sauce quickly by filling a large bowl with ice and cold water.  Pour sauce into a smaller container and place into the ice bath.  The container should be level with the ice.  Stir sauce to distribute the heat to the cold areas until the sauce cools evenly.
  4. Once the sauce is cooled, stir in jalapenos and green onions.  Pour into serving bowl and serve with wings.  Can be made ahead of time and refrigerated.
