One Bag Chicken Dinner

Whether you’re tailgating or camping you want to cook something quick and hearty so you can get back to the fun with friends and family.  Boil a pot of water over the grill and place a bag filled with peppers, onions, rice and chicken to cook.  After it’s finished, top with your choice of sauce and seasonings to make it your own!

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat an outdoor grill over high heat (450-500°F). Fill a large pot with water and place on the grill. Bring to a boil.
  2. Combine all of the ingredients into a slow-cooker bag and tie tight, remove as much air as possible from the bag. Place into the pot of water and cook for 40-45 minutes or until the rice is tender and the chicken is thoroughly cooked to an internal temperature of 170°F.
  3. Pour all contents of the bag into a mixing bowl and using two forks shred the chicken while mixing the seasoning throughout. Serve in tortilla bowls with your favorite condiments like sour cream, guacamole or salsa.
