Instant Pot® Chipotle Seasoned Chicken

How To Cook

Bake:

Conventional Oven

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Spray an 8” x 8” oven safe baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
3. Remove chicken from package and place in dish.
4. Pour sauce directly over the chicken.
5. Cover the dish with foil and cook the chicken* for 1.5 hours.
6. After cooking, allow the chicken to rest 5 minutes.
7. Using forks, shred the chicken and serve with your favorite side dish.
*Always ensure that chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165°F.


Instant Pot®:

Instant Pot

1. Preheat Instant Pot® for approximately 5 minutes using the sauté setting.
2. Place chicken from package into the pot.
3. Sear the chicken on all sides until golden brown.
4. Add 1/4 cup of water to the pot and scrape the pot around the chicken thighs.
5. Move chicken to the center of pot and pour sauce directly over the chicken.
6. Lock the lid in place and turn pressure release valve to sealing position. Set manual pressure cook to High setting for 20 minutes.
7. Once timer goes off, use Quick Pressure Release to release all pressure before carefully opening lid. Remove the chicken with a spoon, shred with forks and serve with your favorite sides.
*Always ensure that chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165°F.
