Instant Pot® Chipotle Seasoned Chicken

How To Cook

Bake:

Conventional Oven

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Spray an 8” x 8” oven safe baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Remove chicken from package and place in dish.
  • Pour sauce directly over the chicken.
  • Cover the dish with foil and cook the chicken* for
  • 5 hours.
  • After cooking, allow the chicken to rest 5 minutes.
  • Using forks, shred the chicken and serve with your favorite side dish.
    *Always ensure that chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165°F.


    Instant Pot®:

    Instant Pot

  • Preheat Instant Pot® for approximately 5 minutes using the sauté setting.
  • Place chicken from package into the pot.
  • Sear the chicken on all sides until golden brown.
  • Add 1/4 cup of water to the pot and scrape the pot around the chicken thighs.
  • Move chicken to the center of pot and pour sauce directly over the chicken.
  • Lock the lid in place and turn pressure release valve to sealing position. Set manual pressure cook to High setting for 20 minutes.
  • Once timer goes off, use Quick Pressure Release to release all pressure before carefully opening lid. Remove the chicken with a spoon, shred with forks and serve with your favorite sides.
    *Always ensure that chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165°F.
