Instant Pot® Creamy Chicken & Noodle Casserole

How To Cook

Bake:

Conventional Oven

  • Preheat an oven to 350°F.
  • Spray an oven safe 8” x 8” baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Pour the noodles evenly into the dish and place the chicken on top of the noodles.
  • Mix the chicken broth seasoning packet with 3 cups of water and pour seasoning solution over noodles and chicken.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake in the oven for
  • 5 hours.
  • After cooking, stir the noodles. Allow to rest 5 minutes then serve.


    Instant Pot®:

    Instant Pot


    Preferred Method.
  • Remove chicken from package and place in an Instant Pot®.
  • Pour the noodles over the top of the chicken.
  • Mix the chicken broth seasoning packet with 2 1/2 cups of water and pour seasoning solution over the noodles.
  • Lock the lid in place and turn pressure release valve to sealing position. Select Pressure Cook, adjust Pressure Level to High, ensure temperature is set to Normal/Medium, and adjust time to 20 minutes.
  • Once timer goes off, use Quick Pressure Release to release all pressure before carefully opening lid. Stir, let rest for 5 minutes, then serve.
    Instant Pot® Tip: Sauté chicken first for added flavor. Set to Sauté function and preheat with 1 tsp of cooking oil for 5 minutes. Sear the chicken for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove chicken from pot and select cancel. Deglaze the pot by adding 1/4 of the cup of water and, using a spatula, scrape any browned pieces on bottom of pot. Finish cooking the dish according to instructions above.
