Rated 2 out of 5 by from Steak was horrible The meat tasted like it wasn't real and had a gross jerky consistancy, was not good at all. Based off the packaging it looked like an awesome convenient and easy meal to make at home, but definitely did not live up to expectations.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tyson seasoned steak fillets with mushrooms kit SO disapoonted! Looked amazing in the package. For the price I expected so much more. Needed to make two kits for my family since the portions are so small. Also out of the two kits that I purchased, only ONE had mushrooms! Never buy this again, and I now question Tyson’s quality standards.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This was possibly the worst meal i've ever had. This definitely did not qualify as steak. What it was I'm not sure, but does classify as TERRIBLE!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Trashed it The smell coming off the meat was not pleasant while cooking. I tried it and unfortunately spit it out. I have never had meat this consistency. This was a waste of money and saved me no time as I had to throw it out and make something else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dont waste your money I was so excited to try this when i saw it at wal mart so i bought it and made it for dinner and it was absolutely terrible I took one bite and spit it out immediately as some others have said the meat taste like rehydrated beef jerky although beef jerky taste better. It was a waste of money honestly. I was going to try one of the chicken ones but after this experience im not sure i want to waste money on another one

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Balsamic jerky and dry potato's and mushrooms The kit, once opened; was not a "family meal" portion wise! Consists of 6 slices of soured steak,. 1 small red skin potato( previously browned), and mushrooms. I was already out the $$$ and pressed to get food into a hungry teen, so I followed the directions, once I tasted the finished steak and mushrooms, I immediately went to my pantry to see if I had any sauce that could over power the dogfood taste steak/mushrooms& would also undry the potato's!! Fast forward to slopping it altogether in a pan with the brown gravy I had on hand, + frozen green beans I also had on hand, then sprinkled it with some bread crumbs and parmesan cheese and then throwing it in the oven to brown the top! And after all of this, he ate one bite, spit it out, and then I ended up making my son a sandwich!! There are no improvements that could make the meat/meal better, waste of my money and time!! Seriously Tyson???

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disgusting I went to Walgreens to buy this, I was very interested in cooking it. Everything is bland and soggy, the so called "beef" tasted like a soggy chopped up slim jim, the potatoes were extremely soggy, I don't like mushrooms so I threw them away, and the sauce is as dry and bland.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beef jerky? This might have been one of the worst meals I have cooked. It looked really good and was very easy to make. The first bite into the beef tasted like I was eating re-formed beef or jerky. Some pieces of the meat were so stringy I couldn't chew them up and had to spit them out. I had high hopes for this meal kit as I kept seeing them in the store. This was the first one I tried and I will not be buying another one. I also don't see how they can advertise this as a 'meal for two' (unless you are a rabbit maybe).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So Bummed I fell in love with one of the chicken options in these meals and was so excited for the steak! I love steak and after the amazing chicken I was so excited to add another meal! The steak tasted like an imitation meat and was not a great quality. After going on a special trip to give this one a try I was incredibly bummed! I also agree that the mushrooms and potatoes burned easily

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Steak or corned beef? This "meal" was not worth the money. The steak had a texture more like corned beef. It was stringy and chewy and was like eating rehydrated beef jerky. The potatoes and onions burnt easily, and I am not a novice cook. This needs another side to justify it as a meal. I added grean beans and served with bread and butter. For the cost of this kit, I could have got the raw ingredients and made a lot more food, that tasted better too.
