  • 22 ounces Grilled & Ready┬« Refrigerated Chicken Chunks
  • 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 3 dash hot sauce, optional
  • 1 package Pillsbury® Grands!® biscuits
  • 1 fresh basil
  • 12 ounces seasoned tomato sauce
  • 16 slices mozzarella cheese, fresh
  • 1 sea salt, to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. Prepare Grilled & Ready Chicken Strips according to package directions.  Chop into pieces when prepared.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  3. Take each biscuit and flatten out to 5" round.
  4. In a small bowl mix the olive oil, oregano and hot sauce if desired.  Brush each biscuit with the seasoned olive oil.
  5. Layer on one 1/2 of the round biscuit 1-2 basil leaves, 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce, 2 slices of mozzarella and top with chicken.
  6. Fold side over all the ingredients and crimp with a fork. Brush top of calzone with seasoned olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
