Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound , trimmed, cut 1/8- to 1/4-inch thick

  • 2 teaspoon vegetable oil

  • 1 small onion, cut into thin wedges

  • 1 jalapeno pepper, fresh and sliced

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 2 Kaiser rolls, split

  • 1/4 cup tomatoes, chopped

Cooking Instructions

  • Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high. Add onion, jalapeño pepper and garlic; cook and stir 3 to 4 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove.
  • Heat same skillet over medium-high. Place steaks in skillet; cook 1 to 2 minutes, turning once. (Do not overcook.) Season with salt to taste.
  • Serve steaks in rolls with onion mixture and tomato.
