1/2 pound , trimmed, cut 1/8- to 1/4-inch thick
2 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 small onion, cut into thin wedges
1 jalapeno pepper, fresh and sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Kaiser rolls, split
1/4 cup tomatoes, chopped
- Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high. Add onion, jalapeño pepper and garlic; cook and stir 3 to 4 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove.
- Heat same skillet over medium-high. Place steaks in skillet; cook 1 to 2 minutes, turning once. (Do not overcook.) Season with salt to taste.
- Serve steaks in rolls with onion mixture and tomato.
